June 25, 2021. Regular Meeting.

June 24, 2021. Noon Exchange Club Officer Installation was held at Giovanni's Restaurant. Brian Hawkins was installed as club President, Charles Lyons as President-Elect, Melissa Rosa as Secretary and Sandy Blount as Treasurer. Mike Blount, who did the installation, becomes the Past President. New or returning board members are Ellen Lanning, Miki Ludwig, Pat Thomas, Angela Fields, Julius Hunter and Marsha Siler. Inez Faison was reognized as Club Member of the Year for 2019-20 and Julius Hunter was recolgnized as Club Member of the Year for 2020-2021. Hope Pregnancy Center, Community in Crisis, the Rainbow Room and Cove House received a donation of $4000 each to help in the prevention of child abuse. President Brian Hawkins presented a Certificate of Achievement to outgoing President Mike Blount for his long and distinquished history and service to Exchange. The event ended with the Texas District President, Mark Hyde, leading all in the Exchange Club Covenant of Service. "Unity for Service".    PICTURES

June 12, 2021. National Exchange Club Region 5 Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Kyndal Burch, a member of the High School United Teen Service Excel Club, was honored as the Texas District Excel Student of the Year. Kyndal was sponsored by the Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove.

June 11.  Regular Meeting.

May 28, 2021. Another great meeting today. Mark Hyde, the Texas District Treasurer, joined us for our meeting.

May 22, 2021.  The club hosted the Mayfest 5K Color Run to raise funds for the prevention of Child Abuse.  

May 21, 2021.

May 14, 2021. The club held their regular meeting and presented year-end youth awards. Alecia Gaines was presented the Youth of the Year award, Carina Lippert was presented the A.C.E. of the Year award, and Kyndal Burch was presented the Excel Student of the Year award. Each received certificates and $1000 scholarships. The meeting quest speaker was Dr. Joseph Burns, Superintendent of Copperas Cove ISD who spoke of CCISD's plans for the future.

April 23, 2021. Regular Meeting

April 9, 2021.  Another great meeting today. Mrs. Jamaica Jackson from Stoney Brook Assisted Living & Memory Care visited our club for the first time. Texas District Director, Mrs. Maureen Jouett, was also on hand. Sandor Vega introduced the City Employee of the 4th Quarter, Deputy Fire Chief Gary Young. President Blount presented Chief Young with a certificate for his selection. Sandor Vega also introduced our guest speaker, Copperas Cove City Manager Ryan Haverlah. Mr. Haverlah updated the members on all the future projects coming to Copperas Cove.               PICTURES

April 1. 2021.  Club hosted the Easter egg hunt for the Copperas Cove Boys and Girls club.      PICTURES 

March 26, 2021.  Another great meeting today.  Club President, Michael Blount inducted a new member into the club,  Christian Rightner. Officer elections for 2020-2021 were held.  Club leadership for next year are Inez Faison (President), Charles Lyons (President-Elect), Michael Blount (Past-President), Melissa Rosa (Secretary), Sandy Blount (Treasurer) and a Board of Directors consisting of Paul Inman, Pat Thomas, Julius Hunter, Angela Fields, and Miki Ludwig.  The club held its monthly scholarship auction, won by  Angela Fields, raising over $600. The club also celebrated 25 years of service to the community with a cake cutting.      PICTURES

March 12, 2021. Great meeting today. The club recognized the Youth of the Quarter (Madison Warren), the A.C.E. of the Quarter (Carina Lippert) and the Educator of the Quarter (Mrs. Jade Dozier Benjamin). Mrs. Benjamin was also our guest speaker and spoke about the STEMS program which she instructs at Copperas Cove Junior High School. The club raised $90 from it's Child Abuse Prevention raffle. Melody Squires received a belated Certificate for helping with the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign during the holidays.             PICTURES

February 26, 2021.  The club recognized the Patrol Division as the Copperas Cove Police Department "Division of the Year." The club was especially grateful to all the officers who are working the front lines during the pandemic and the recent ice storms. Captain Cordova is presented the award from Exchange member Pat Thomas. Brian Hawkins won the Child Abuse prevention drawing.          PICTURES
